SD card sizes December 8, 2013

Have not used map yet....please remind users that mini SD card resides "inside" regular SD card.
Prevents some panic and questions when product arrives and it won't fit into GPS slot.

Ecuador Map November 28, 2013
Reviewer: Lorne Wicks from Vernon, BC Canada
Just got back from a 14 day driving tour of Ecuador. First off I wouldn't want to try it with out it. That said it will get you lost particularly in out of the way areas. It also will try to get you to go the wrong way on one way streets in the cities. Get as good paper maps as you can too back it up.

Useful, but not very good. November 20, 2013
Reviewer: M Ryan Frederick from Smyrna, DE United States
The maps are useful and accurate, but the navigation is frequently incorrect in the cities of Ecuador. Especially in Guayaquil, I often found myself being led down roads that did not exist or were one-way. Typically, I found it easier to use the map view and navigate myself. My GPS is  a Garmin Nuvi.

GPS map fof Ecuador September 26, 2013
Reviewer: Johnny Killebrew from Gainesville, FL United States
I just purchased the software in preparation for a three week visit to Cuenca, Ecuador.  The download instructions were not intuitive and took me several attempts to download the files.  Further, the install instructions were a bit complicated and I'm not sure that I was completely successful in getting the software installed on my Garmin so I will have to wait until I am in Cuenca to see if the software actually works satisfactorily.

Atacames-Cumbaya September 14, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Lake in the Hills, IL United States
After installation the first location I looked up was in Atacames, EC where I live.  Understandably, the detail was lacking for such a small beach town and there were some graphical errors. (one of my military specialties was map draftsman).
Then I looked up a Cumbaya location near Quito and found it, but only because I had used an internet map to find it a few weeks before and knew where to look. It remains to be seen how well it functions when I get back. Ecuadorian road signs may tell of a major intersection ahead, but when you get to it there is seldom a street sign. It is a learning experience.
